Israel Govt Gives ‘Green Light’ To Gaza Ceasefire Agreement – Takes Effect Tomorrow, Sunday

The Israeli government this morning approved a cease-fire agreement with Hamas in the Gaza Strip, which is set to come into force on Sunday, when the first Israeli hostages will be released in exchange for Palestinian prisoners. The deal, first announced on Wednesday by Qatar and the US, aims to lead to “the definitive end to the war”, which has claimed tens of thousands of lives in the Gaza Strip for more than 15 months, according to Qatar’s prime minister , Muhammad bin Abdelrahman al Thani.
