Israel: IDF leader admitted that Israeli commando acted within Iran

The Chief of the General Staff of Israeli Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, said tonight that “land forces” acted in Iran during the 12 -day war between the two countries. Welcoming the successes of the IDFs, Zamir said it was the result of the action of “our air forces and the land special forces”, adding that the commandos “acted secrets in the heart of enemy territory and gave us complete operational freedom”. Eyal Zamir is the first to publicly declare that Israeli soldiers participated in the Iran war being on the territory of the Islamic Republic. In the videotaped message released by the army, Zamir also states that, although this operation is over, “the campaign is not yet completed, we must be vigilant” as “many challenges are awaiting us”.
