Israel is considering a deal to end the conflict with Hezbollah in Lebanon, which would see the group’s fighters removed from Israel’s borders after judging that its missile arsenal has been mostly exhausted or destroyed. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with top partners late Tuesday to discuss a U.S.-sponsored ceasefire proposal, his spokesman said. The White House is sending two of President Joe Biden’s most senior Middle East envoys, Brett McGurk and Amos Hochstein, to Israel on Thursday, another Israeli official said, according to Bloomberg.
