Israel: military official admits that Iran hit Israeli military installations

An Israeli military official said today that Iranian blows last month hit some Israeli military installations, the first admission from Israeli official lips that such sites were hit. The official, speaking on condition that he would not be named in accordance with the rules of the army, said that “very few” sites were affected and that they remained functional. He refused to provide more details, including the determination of the bombarded military sites or the severity of the damage to the military infrastructure. Iran carried out waves of raids against Israel last month, following an Israeli attack on June 13, which aimed among other Iranian nuclear facilities. Iranian raids targeted densely populated cities such as Tel Aviv and Haifa, as well as the southern part of Israel around Berceva, where many military installations are located. Source: RES
