A Palestinian stabbed and wounded one today Jew settler in the occupied West Bank before he was shot dead, Israeli authorities announced on Wednesday (11/1).
The Palestinian – a resident of Al Dahiriya, near Hebron – attacked with a knife and injured the 30-year-old Israeli, who was taken to a hospital without his life being in danger, says the press release issued by the Red Star of David (s.s. the corresponding Red Cross in Israel).
The attacker was shot and killed by a passerby, Israeli Kan TV reported.
Earlier on Wednesday (11/1), Israeli soldiers killed a 21-year-old Palestinian gunman during an operation in the Balata refugee camp, near Nablus, according to a statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
The Israeli military said the soldiers were attacked during an operation to identify and arrest extremists and returned fire.
