Israel Prepares to Invade Lebanon – Hezbollah First Fired Rocket at Tel Aviv

Fears of an escalation in the Middle East are growing as Israel, after bombing Lebanon, prepares for an invasion to fight Hezbollah. According to Sky News, two reserve brigades have been sent to the northern border, at a time when at least 20,000 reservists are already serving, not counting military forces that have been deployed for a decade. The Israeli Major General, Ori Gordin, explained that the army must be strongly prepared for a ground attack in Lebanon, stressing the following: “We have to change the security situation. We must be very strongly prepared to enter Lebanon.” According to the latest count, at least 90,530 people have been displaced in recent days in Lebanon, including nearly 40,000 in 283 shelters, the International Organization for Migration said Wednesday.
