Israel: President Herzog asks “at all costs” for an agreement to release the hostages

Israeli President Isaac Herzog today urged the Israeli government to reach an agreement “at all costs” to free the hostages. At a ceremony this afternoon in Tel Aviv for wounded Israeli soldiers, Herzog called on the country’s political leadership to make a final push to reach “at all costs” a deal to free the hostages held for more than a year in the Gaza Strip and a ceasefire in the Palestinian enclave, after 14 months of an Israeli military campaign there.
