Israel sends new Jewish settlers to West Bank – They go to strongholds of armed groups

As Israel continues the war in Gaza, it has decided to send new Jewish settlers to the West Bank, specifically to three settlements that are considered strongholds of armed organizations. The three settlements, Sha-nur, Ghanim and Qadim, are located near the Palestinian cities of Jenin and Nablus, which are considered strongholds of armed organizations in the northern West Bank. A fourth settlement, Homs, was given permission to return last year after parliament approved an amendment to the so-called 2005 “disengagement law”. The return to the other three settlements required permission from the military, which has overall control over West Bank.
