An amateur video broadcast on Israeli television shows a man in black, armed with a rifle, wandering a street. Eyewitnesses reported that he was shooting at the balconies of apartments and against passing and passing cars.

The “Red Star of David” – the corresponding “Red Cross” in Israel – confirmed that the gunman killed five people.

According to Israeli media, citing a security official, the perpetrator was a Palestinian from the occupied West Bank.

Two police officers were killed by gunfire in the northern Israeli city of Khandera on Sunday in an attack blamed on the Islamic State (ISIS) jihadist group. Israeli police have identified and killed the perpetrators.

On March 22, in the city of Beer Sheva (south), four Israelis (two men and two women) were killed in a stabbing carried out by an Arab Israeli, inspired by ISIS ideology. The perpetrator was a teacher, who was sentenced in 2016 to four years in prison for “hate speech” and because he planned to travel to Syria to fight on the side of the jihadists.
