Israel to choke Hamas tunnels in Gaza with nerve gas and chemical weapons

Palestinian resistance groups estimate Israel will be ‘flooded’ the Hamas tunnels with nerve gas and chemical weapons under the supervision of American commandos of the “Delta Force”, in the context of a surprise attack on the Gaza Strip, as he stated in Middle East Eye, a senior Arab official citing leaks from the US. Israel and the US hope to surprise Hamas in order to infiltrate the group’s underground tunnels, the unnamed source said.

“Large quantities of nerve gas will be pumped into the Hamas tunnels, capable of paralyzing bodily movements for between 6 and 12 hours. During this time, the tunnels will be penetrated, the hostages will be rescued and thousands of al-Qassam soldiers will be killed,” the source said. “The plan depends on the element of surprise to achieve a decisive victory, using internationally banned gases, mainly nerve gases, and chemical weapons. Large quantities of nerve gas will be pumped into the Hamas tunnels,” the source claimed.

Reports of a delay ground invasion of Gaza, according to the same source, are part of a deception campaign by Israel in order to surprise the enemy with multiple attacks. The media sought comment from the White House and the US Department of Defense, however, by the time of publishing the report, had not received any response.

Active US involvement

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin communicates almost daily with his Israeli counterpart, Yoav Gallad, on the progress of operations while senior US military officials with knowledge of civil warfare are already on the ground in Israel.

During of Joe Biden’s visit to Israel last week, while attending a war planning meeting, the US president accidentally shared a photo online revealing the faces of three “Delta Force” commandos who are advising Israel on the rescue of hostages held by Hamas. The post was taken down after a while.

“Delta Force” is an elite unit of the US Army’s Special Operations Forces. They are trained in hostage rescue missions, fight against terrorism with the aim of exterminating anyone who captures or kills hostages to put pressure on the enemy. They have first-hand experience participating in the rescue of hostages from the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists.

Deception campaign

According to the leaked information, the delay in the Israeli ground invasion is misleading and is intended to surprise the enemy in a multi-pronged attack that will include Israeli commandos landing in northern Gaza and along its coast. The operational details of the attack have already been agreed, the source said.

Yesterday, the Wall Street Journal reported that Israel had agreed to delay its expected ground invasion to give the US more time to deploy air defense systems in the area. Netanyahu said a few hours later that Israel was preparing a ground invasion, but gave no indication of a timetable or other details.

In addition, Israeli media also reported leaks about disagreements within Israel’s war cabinet consisting of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallad. The source said that “while not baseless, the reports represent a disinformation attempt by Hamas aimed at Israel taking the resistance” in the Gaza Strip by surprise.
