The Arab spokesman for Israel’s Defense Forces (FDI), Avichay Adraee, issued an outfit order for several neighborhoods in the range of Gaza via X on Tuesday (18).
“Israel’s defense forces have launched a massive offensive against terrorist organizations. These designated areas are considered dangerous combat zones!” Wrote Adraee, in a publication on the social network, that also released a map of Gaza showing lanes of the neighborhoods of the colorful territory in red.
He asked residents to go to shelters in the west of Gaza and Khan Younis, particularly those in the neighborhoods of Beit Hanoun, Khirbet Khuza’a, Abasan Al-Kabira and Al-Jadido.
Israeli air strikes hit Gaza, killing more than 300 people, Palestinian health officials reported on Tuesday, and threatening a complete collapse of a two-month ceasefire, as he promised to use the remaining hostages in the territory.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that he instructed the military to take “strong actions” against the Palestinian Islamic group Hamas in Gaza in response to the group’s refusal to release the hostages maintained there and the rejection of ceasefire proposals.
The border fence area has been highly dangerous since the beginning of the combat on October 7, 2023 – although the zone seems to have expanded with this last order, in some areas for several kilometers.
