Israeli Defense Minister says troops near Gaza “will see the region soon”

The Minister of Defense of Israel Yoav Gallant, told troops gathered near the Gaza Strip that they will “soon see” the region “from the inside”, according to a press release from his office this Thursday (19).

“You see Gaza from a distance now, you will see it from the inside soon. Command will arrive,” she said, according to the statement.

The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu , on a separate visit to an area bordering the Gaza Strip on Thursday, told troops stationed in the region: “The entire nation of Israel is behind you, and we will deal the heavy blow to our enemies so that we can achieve victory. To victory! Ready?”

Also on Thursday, the commander of the southern Army of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Major General Yaron Finkelman, told troops in another region of the border: “This maneuver will shift the war to the enemy’s side and we will win on his turf. . The maneuver will be long, difficult, intense, but we have the best commanders and fighters that the IDF has to offer.”
