Israeli tanks near Lebanon border – At least 10 killed in shelling in Sarafat city

Israeli tanks have come within about six kilometers of the border, near the town of Hiam in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese News Agency (NNA). The agency says “a large number of tanks of the Israeli occupation army” have been stationed on a hill east of Hiam. For its part, Hezbollah announced that it had hit two Israeli tanks in the area with guided missiles and that it had launched an attack with rockets and artillery shells against the invaders. In the evening, the Lebanese News Agency reported that Israeli warplanes had launched strikes in Khiam.
