At least 12 patients and their relatives were killed and dozens injured in an Israeli strike on an Indonesian hospital in the northern part of the city of GazaAshraf al-Kintreh, the spokesman for the Hamas Health Ministry, announced today.
“The Israeli army is besieging the Indonesian hospital and we are afraid that what will happen there will happen to Al Shifa (hospital)”he added.
The hospital’s spokesman told Al Jazeera about the latest developments that “we fear that the Israeli forces will repeat what they did at Al Shifa Hospital” and added that “the situation is catastrophic and the Israeli forces are intensifying their attacks.”
He pointed out that the medical staff at the Indonesian hospital insist that will remain to treat the wounded while there are about 700 people, including medical staff and the wounded, inside the hospital.
