Israel’s Security Council meets – On the table is the diplomatic solution to end the war in Lebanon

The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, convened today at 20:00 a security council with ministers of his government and in the presence of intelligence chiefs regarding talks to find a diplomatic solution to the war in Lebanon, said the journalist of the American news site Axios, Barak Ravid, with post on X, citing two sources and Israeli media. Meanwhile, an Israeli official told the Times of Israel that there would be another round of talks this week to free the hostages, this time in Egypt. The Israeli delegation will likely be headed by Mossad chief David Barnea. Also, US special envoy Amos Hochstein will travel to Israel next week to continue pushing for an end to the conflict in Lebanon, the official said.
