Ethel Katerham, who lives in a nursing home in Lightwatter, Surrey, became the oldest living woman in April, after the death of Brazilian monk Sister Fiber Kanbaro Lucas at the age of 116. Born on August 21, 1909, he is the last living national of King Edward III. His trustee, King Charles III, sent to Ms. Katerham a card for her 115th birthday in 2024. Ms. Katerham was born three years before the sinking of the Titanic, eight years before the Russian Revolution and lived both world wars. He was born in Sipton Bellinger, Hampshire, second younger than eight children, and grew up in Tintworth, Wilsir.
