Last month, EA and Motive Studio announced a remake of the hit space horror film Dead Space, which was released in 2008 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Development of the remake began about a year ago. The creators showed the first footage of the gameplay and emphasized that they are taken from a very early build. The remake was based on the original, that is, the storyline, characters and gameplay will remain the same. This will add new visuals, lighting, dismemberment, and zero gravity levels.
Moreover, it has been confirmed that the main character of the game, Isaac Clarke, will be voiced in the remake, as opposed to the original, where he was the silent protagonist. He will be voiced by Cannoneer Wright, who gave his voice to the character in subsequent parts.

A remake of Dead Space, which is being created using the Frostbite engine, will be released on PC, Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5.
