It seems that the nomination for vice presidency will be from the PSDB, says Roberto Freire

The PSDB and MDB parties intend to discuss the composition of a single government program in the coming weeks.

In an interview with CNN this Thursday (9), the president of Cidadania, Roberto Freire, stated that the vice-president of the slate of pre-candidate Simone Tebet (MDB) is not yet defined.

“We have not yet closed the issue of the vice presidency and looks like the nomination will be from the PSDB , as the big party that forms with the MDB the biggest base in this coalition. But in any case, the time is not yet. Especially because if you analyze the only candidate for president who already has a ticket with a vice president is Lula”, he said.

According to Freire, the parties seek unity in the campaign. “From now on, we are open to other political forces that may want to integrate. We don’t have a closed door, we don’t have any veto to anyone who wants to integrate in this construction of the democratic center and this electoral alternative”, he said.

The president of Cidadania also stated that he believes that the country is looking for an alternative to the Presidency of the Republic.

“We are absolutely certain that the country is looking for an alternative to this disjunctive that seems to have been consolidated in Brazil, but that is consolidated through hatred, the division of Brazilian families, something that one wants to destroy the other and Brazil little it matters. We need to find this alternative and there is no doubt about it: Simone Tebet is prepared for this, has composure and can become the great alternative for October for Brazilians”, said Freire.
