New York Court of Appeal today canceled the fine of about half a billion dollars imposed on US President Donald Trump after a judge ruled that it had deceived the value of its real estate and other assets to promote its family. The decision of the Manhattan Pentamel Court of Appeal is considered a defeat for New York City Public Prosecutor Leticia James, who had prosecuted Trump for fraud in 2022. The judges of the Court of Appeal had appeared cautious when they were examining the case in September 20. after a hearing that lasted three months.
