The choice of the four winners was assessed on the basis of what happened in this year and a half of pandemic, where the role of chefs, restaurateurs and event managers was particularly damaged by the restrictions due to Covid 19, but at the same time it has given the opportunity to highlight all the Italian know-how and generosity of the food world.
The prizes were awarded to: Alessandra Grillo as ambassador of the world of wedding planners and events – Massimo Bottura, the Chef who most of all has become a spokesperson on the problems of the sector and has taken steps to concretely help restaurateurs – The Cerea family of the Da Vittorio restaurant, for their generosity and for their activities in favor of doctors and hospitals during the pandemic – Francesco Panella entrepreneur Antica Pesa, a generous Italian who has continued his expansion in the world by guaranteeing jobs and doing his utmost to help find concrete solutions.
The director of La Cucina Italiana also revealed how her career in the world of journalism began, letting herself be involved in the chef’s stories Luigi Cassago who for the occasion experimented with a new risotto with mountain pine, underlining the importance of recipes based on natural herbs and local raw materials.
For Maddalena Fossati a precious box containing the sunscreens of Institut Esthederm, a range of products formulated for all skin types and sun intensities with an exceptional texture and a delicate scent.
