In the last 24 hours in Italy, 133,142 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, while 427 patients have died due to complications of Covid-19.
In total, 1,246,987 diagnostic tests were performed, 10.1% of which were positive. There are 1,549 patients with coronavirus in the intensive care units of the country (35 less than yesterday). There are 19,873 patients in the hospital wards, which is 40 less than yesterday.
At this stage, the number of positive people for the virus is 2,476,514. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 11,116,422 people have been infected and 146,925 people have died in Italy.
Tomorrow, the Italian government is expected to consider approving a “vaccination certificate of indefinite duration” for those citizens who have received all three doses of the coronavirus vaccine.
