Italy: 13,446 coronavirus cases with 263 deaths

The last twenty-four hours in Italy the coronavirus cases are 13,446 and 263 people lost their lives. Yesterday the cases were 14,320, with 288 dead. A total of 338,771 diagnostic tests were performed, 3.9% of which were positive. In the last twenty-four hours, the corresponding percentage was 4.3%.

At the same time, compared to yesterday, there are 57 fewer people in the intensive care units of the country, while in the hospital wards there are 411 fewer. Since the beginning of the covid pandemic 19, 4,022,653 people have been infected and 120,807 killed in Italy.

In the various regions of the country, most cases today were recorded in the regions of Lombardy (2,214), Campania (1,898) with Naples as its capital and Puglia (1,344) with Bari as its capital.
