In the last 24 hours, 17,567 cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Italy and 344 people have lost their lives. A total of 320,892 diagnostic tests were performed, 5.4% of which were positive. Yesterday, the corresponding percentage was 5.2%.
At the same time, in the last twenty-four hours the cases were 18,938, with 718 deaths. This very high number of deaths, however, was also due to the fact that Sicily recorded, only yesterday, the data of 258 patients who died from Monday to Thursday.

The Italian Ministry of Health has finally announced that the first 184,000 doses of the Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine will arrive in Italy next week. A total of up to 500,000 doses are expected to be delivered by the US pharmaceutical industry by the end of the month.
