A 47 -year -old man, owner of a small building company, died today outside Bologna while working under the sun. He was in a school building building and felt bad shortly after 12 noon. The unfortunate man had migrated to Italy from Morocco and was called El Azam Brahim, according to the Italian CGIL trade union. This is the first death due to this year’s heatwave that affects the country. In Milan, the president of the Lombardy Region, Athlio Fontana, signed a decision that will apply tomorrow and is always linked to the heat. By mid -September, the days when the alert is “in the red”, work under the sun will be prohibited, in agricultural businesses and buildings from 12.30pm to 4pm. This ban will not concern public services and workers working in difficult conditions for civil protection. Source: RES
