Italy: Citizens willing to reduce car use – What they say about air conditioning and radiators

Most Italians are willing to use their car less, but do not want to reduce its use air conditioner and his radiatoraccording to a survey by the Ipsos polling institute.

More specifically, only 31% of respondents say they are ready to limit the use of air conditioning, while in terms of radiators, the percentage increases to 44%. In Milan, the country’s financial capital, only 22% said they had less air conditioning this year.

In terms of transportation, 63% of the statistical sample will use their car less than they did in the past and at the same time 58% want to buy an electric or hybrid car in the future.

The city of Italy with the greatest sensitivity to sustainable development is Bologna, while the citizens 57 to 74 years old are the ones who say they are ready to make the most sacrifices in order to be able to protect – as effectively as possible – the planet.

At the same time, a survey by Mup Research also showed that in the last quarter 46% of Italians have already limited the use of their car, due to the increase in the price of gasoline.

47% of respondents said they try to fill the tank of their car at gas stations where fuel costs less, while 32% adopted a new way of driving, more careful, in order to avoid unnecessary waste of fuel.
