Mandatory and with the “voula” of the State is the green pass for all its employees Italy as the legislative decree of the Draghi government for the expansion of its use was published on Wednesday (22/9) in the Government Gazette of the country and bears the signature of the President of Italy Sergio Matarella.
The “green pass” as broadcast by the Athens News Agency quoted by Italian media remains mandatory for all employees, in the public and private sectors, as well as for the self-employed who come into contact with the public.
What will apply to those who do not have a green pass
Anyone who does not have it will not be able to get paid and enter the workplace until the end of the decree. That is, until December 31 of this year.
At the same time there is a difference compared to the announcements made last week by the ministers of the Italian government: Citizens who do not have a “pass” will not be able to work but will not be – and officially – put on suspension. At the same time, as already announced, they will not be able to be fired.
This extension of the use of the green pass is going to take effect from October 15. The relevant rules will finally apply to all judges, but not to lawyers, defendants and witnesses involved in trials.
