Italy first in the world for Coronavirus deaths per 100 thousand inhabitants

With 111.23 deaths per 100 thousand inhabitants, our country is therefore in first place in the ranking of the 20 countries most affected by Covid-19, followed by Spain (104.39), the United Kingdom (99.49) and the United States (94.97).

With a percentage of 3.5%, Italy, on the other hand, is in third place in the ranking that considers the relationship between confirmed cases and deaths, immediately after Mexico (9%) and Iran (4.7%) but before the United Kingdom (3.4%).

Generally, the 67,894 recorded deaths make Italy the fifth most affected country in the world by Covid-19, after the United States (311,529 deaths), Brazil (184,827), India (144,789) and Mexico (116,487).

The light at the end of the tunnel is called the anti-Covid vaccine and very soon it will also become a reality in Italy. The first doses of the drug developed by Pfizer / BionTech will arrive in our country next week, to ensure that we can start with the administration as early as December 27th, in that Vaccine-Day which will see the initiation of the immunization process simultaneously in several European countries.
