Italy: Invaders of anti-vaccines invade the offices of the country’s largest union

Tensions and clashes broke out this afternoon at Rome, at the end of anti-vaccine mobilization organized in the central square of the People.

The police proceeded repeatedly to water casters against protesters near the Government Megaron Palatso Kjji.

Tensions also erupted near central Via Veneto. Some of the participants in the mobilization wanted to hold a protest march in the center of the Eternal City.

In today’s demonstration, with about 10,000 people, the main role was played by elements of the far-right, neo-fascist organization Fortsa Nuova, Nea Dynami.

At the same time, a group of protesters entered the headquarters of the country’s largest union, Cgil. They caused havoc and shouted slogans against union secretary Mauricio Ladini. They consider that he should “apologize”, because he agreed with the application of the green vaccinated pass, from October 15.

“We have been attacked by fascists. “We are resisting this attack on democracy and all workers.”

“No one can hope that our country will go back to the twentieth century of the fascist regime,” the Italian trade unionist added.

The attack on the Italian union Cgil was unequivocally condemned by the Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, who stressed:

“Trade unions strongly support democracy and workers’ rights. No intimidation against them can be accepted. We must reject them with absolute determination. “
