Italy: Meloni posted photo with one of the victims in Rome – We were friends

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni posted a photo of one of the victims of the 57-year-old’s murderous rampage at a Rome apartment building assembly. The photo captured the Italian prime minister with Nicoletta Golizano (one of the three women murdered by the attacker) and a mutual friend.

The killer, who had already threatened the residents in the past, took the lives of three women and injured four other people. One woman is in critical condition with head injuries.

“The man who murdered these three innocent women has been arrested and I hope that justice will follow its course as quickly as possible. Nicoletta was my friend, it’s not right to die like this,” Meloni wrote on Facebook. “Nicoleta was a loving mother, a sincere and discreet friend, a strong and, at the same time, fragile woman. And, above all, he was a professional with an exceptional sense of responsibility,” added the Italian Prime Minister.

“She leaves behind her husband, Giovanni, and a wonderful ten-year-old son, Lorenzo. In addition to her own, other families were torn apart. I express my condolences and my closeness to everyone,” the head of the Italian government finally wrote.
