Another big price increase is recorded in Italy, according to the latest figures from consumer association Codacons.
In more detail, compared to last year, the price of seed oil increased by 68.7%, butter by 28.1%, pasta and flour by 22.6% and tomatoes by 19.4%.
According to Codacons, compared to 2021, the price of electricity in the free market increased by 87.5% and 67.8% in the protected market.
At the same time, with regard to the summer holidays, car rental in Italy this year costs 35.5% more than last year, the cost of ferry connections increased by 18.7%, hotels by 22.8% and offers for holidays abroad, by an average of 6.2%.
Finally, the absolute record is recorded in air tickets, since for flights within Europe, within 12 months, the appreciation reached 139%. International flights increased by 124.1% and transatlantic flights by 70.7%.
