A new “technological fraud” has caused a great deal of sense in Italy in recent days. More specifically, a spiral allegedly used tools of artificial intelligence to reproduce the voice of Defense Minister Guindo Crozeto and managed to earn large sums of money. Pretending to the Minister and his alleged close associates, members of the spiral contacted well -known businessmen by phone. Among them, with Giorgio Armani, Diego Della Valle (founder of renowned footwear) but also with Massimo Morati, owner of the Inter football team, as well as oil company. The criminals were asking for money, “to pay ransom and leave free journalists and Italian soldiers abducted abroad.” Members of the spiral even assured their interlocutors that “then the amount was to be returned by the Bank of Italy”.
