The Italians owners petrol stations they decided to proclaim strike for January 25 and 26 and underline that “the mudslinging against a class of honest workers must end and the truth must be restored.”
The Italian gas sellers do not agree, at the same time, with the decision of the Meloni government which obliges them to mandatory posting of the average fuel priceon a daily basis, at all gas stations in the country, as well as by imposing a “ceiling” on the gas stations located on the highways.
“These are measures that do not aim to hit the owners of the petrol stations, but only to be able to identify the few who act in a cunning way” said the Italian Prime Minister. The Italian gas station owners, however, respond, as APE-MBE notes, that at this stage, “while favoring tax evaders, the government causes the price of fuel to rise and puts the blame on the gas station owners”.
