Italy: Third political force Conte’s Five Stars – Italy’s far-right Brothers in first place

According to a new poll by the polling company Izi, in the last few days there have been substantial changes regarding the voting intention of Italians.

In more detail, the far-right Adelphia of Italy remains firmly in the first place of the intention to vote, with a percentage of 24.5%. Second is the center-left Democratic Party, with a percentage of 21.8% and in third place there is a change of essential importance: the Five Stars, with president Giuseppe Conte, “convince” 13% of the respondents, while the League of Matteo Salvini in the phase this does not exceed 12%. Silvio Berlusconi’s Forza Italia is supported by 8% of the statistical sample and the so-called “centrist pole” of Carlo Calenda and Matteo Renzi, 5.2%.

The Greens and the Italian Left secure 4.5% of the vote intention, the radical “More Europe” movement 2% and Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio’s “Citizens Effort” movement 0.6%.

In the event, finally, of a worsening of the international economic crisis, the answer given by 30% of respondents regarding who should govern is that a government of national unity should be created, while 25.9% want a government of technocrats with a prime minister without party identification and only 18.5% would prefer a conservative government with far-right Georgia Meloni as prime minister.

Overall, however, in this phase the conservative faction secures 45.1% of the voting intention, while the center-left and its allies are at 28.9%.
