Italy: Three prostitutes found dead in Rome – Authorities are investigating whether there is a serial killer on the loose

The police have been alerted of Rome as during Thursday (17/11) three were found dead prostitutes not far apart in its Prati region Italian capital city.

Specifically, these are two prostitutes of Chinese origin and a Colombian transsexual. The latter was found stabbed to death.

According to the website of the Italian newspaper “La Repubblica”, authorities are seriously considering the possibility that the perpetrator is a serial killer and is currently roaming the streets of Rome plotting his next hit. They are also investigating whether these murders can be related to others that took place in the past.

On Thursday morning (17/11) one of the neighbors of the two women from China, called the police saying that he saw the woman dead on the stairs of the apartment building in a pool of blood. The police men who rushed to the scene then found the second dead woman. About an hour later, the Rome police received a call that the Colombian woman was dead 800 meters from where the two women were found.

According to Italian media, the victims suffered injuries from a sharp object, with the authorities claiming that it was probably a kitchen knife or a large knife.
