The government of Georgia Meloni in Italy has decided to tighten the immigration rules. At the end of the meeting of the Council of Ministers, yesterday, Wednesday evening, it was announced that from now on the police authorities will be able to check the mobile phones of immigrants and refugees arriving on Italian shores, with the aim of ascertaining which countries they come from, the countries of transit them and their identity. At the same time, the ability of the various NGOs to fly their aircraft in the central Mediterranean, to locate any wrecks, is limited. Absolute priority is given to the Coast Guard and the Navy, who should be notified immediately by the NGOs.
