O Ministry of Foreign Affairs do Brasil announced this Sunday (27) the sending of eight employees to Warsaw, a city in Poland that has received people who fled from Ukraine, including Brazilians.
The objective, according to the ministry, is to help Brazilians who are in the city. The recommendation is that Brazilians near the border between Ukraine and Poland contact the duty of the Itamaraty in Warsaw, by phone number +48608094328.
On Twitter, the president Jair Bolsonaro reported that 37 Brazilians and two Uruguayans arrived at the Brazilian embassy in Romania after leaving Kiev, and that all are in good health.
Among the members of the group are some players from the Ukrainian football team Shaktar Donestky and their families.
According to the president, the group received “full support” from the Union of European Football Federations (uefa), which cost road transport and accommodation costs in the Romanian capital Bucharest.
“We are waiting for interested parties to express their opinion about returning to Brazil, where we have already made available two FAB KC-390 aircraft”, says the publication.
