ITC Checks Selected Cellular Devices Made by Samsung and Motorola Mobility for Patent Infringement

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) said it is testing some cellular devices manufactured by Samsung Electronics and Motorola Mobility. An investigation was launched in response to a complaint received.

Evolved Wireless filed a complaint against Samsung Electronics and Motorola Mobility, a company owned by the Lenovo Group. In its opinion, certain products of these manufacturers that support LTE have infringed their patents. The complaint was filed on 1 February.
