The love life of Ivana Trump, who died at age 73 in her New York home, has been hectic. And full of twists and turns. Born in Czechoslovakia in 1949, her first of hers four weddings dates back to 1971, when she was still Ivana Marie Zelníčková, she was 22 and worked as model. She married a childhood friend, the ski instructor Alfred Winklmayr, to obtain the citizenship of Austria and escape beyond the Iron Curtain. Two years later Ivana and Alfred decided to go their separate ways. She settled in the US and there, at a party, she met the very wealthy entrepreneur Donald Trump. In 1977 she married him and from their marriage they were born three children: Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric. The marriage lasted until 1992: it was the cause of the breakup Marla Maplesthe blonde “peach of Georgia” with whom Trump had started one clandestine relationship which would culminate in the birth of the fourth daughter Tiffany.

It was Marples himself, during the 1991 Christmas holidays on the ski slopes of Aspen, Colorado, who made it known to Ivana that Trump was cheating on her with her. Mrs. Trump, first in a good version wife who knows, but lets it go, replied: “My husband sleeps every night in my bed“. But when the other replied by telling her that they had sex every afternoon from 5 to 7, she “made her black,” as her friends have said. Then transformed by anger, Ivana skied in front of Donald “in reverse”, giving him a resounding middle finger. He took the private jet, returned to New York and asked for the millionaire divorce, child custody and sumptuous alimony. During the separation, rags, insults and very strong statements flew. In a sensational testimony Ivana accused Donald of raping her even though she later specified that her words were not to be taken literally. Certainly the two managed to rebuild an excellent relationship, so much so that she supported his race for the White House. And it was the former president of the United States who announced her death: “she was a wonderful, beautiful, incredible woman.” Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. After Donald’s farewell, Ivana didn’t stay single for long. In 1995 she married the Italian businessman Riccardo Mazzucchelli. The marriage ended two years later in court: Ivana sued Mazzucchelli for violation of the confidentiality agreement on the prenuptial contract. She then famous the love story with another Italian, the count Roffredo Gaetani, owner of the Ferrari dealership in Long Island. The two got engaged in 1997 and remained together until his death in a car accident in 2005. Then in April 2008 the fourth, much talked about marriage, with the actor and model Rossano Rubicondi: le $ 3 million wedding with 400 guests was hosted by Donald Trump on the estate of Mar-a-Lago and his daughter Ivanka Trump was a bridesmaid of the bride. The marriage between Rossano and Ivana, who filled the pages of the newspapers also because of the age difference – she was born in 1949, he in 1972 – lasted less than a year. Already in December 2008 she made it known that she had asked for the separation. But the relationship with Rossano never broke off, turning into a friendship impermeable to the passage of time. She always stood by him while he struggled with a melanoma. Rossano died at the age of 49 on 29 October last year. “I am devastatedThe ex-wife commented.
