The fans of Ivete Sangalo and Ludmilla who had already purchased tickets for shows tours that were canceled this Wednesday (15) may ask for a refund . Check below what Procon and the companies involved in sales, Eventim and 30e, say.
Brazilian legislation guarantees consumers the right to full refund of amounts paid in the case of the cancellation of shows, events and the like, says Procon.
Furthermore, no barriers or difficulties can be placed for the consumer to receive the ticket price back.
Although the tour cancellation notes, from both Ivete and Ludmilla, point out that fans should look for the producer 30e to receive a refund, Procon explains that the company responsible for the return is the one that made the direct sale, that is, the Eventim.
Even so, 30e said, in a statement, that “it will disclose as soon as possible the procedures related to refunds for fans who had already purchased tickets”.
Eventim says that “information about the shows will soon be sent to the registered email” of each buyer and asks the consumer to wait for the message.
In case of difficulties in receiving the money back, the consumer can register a complaint with Procon.
Announcements of the cancellation of the two singers' tours were published on social media this Wednesday morning. The artists accuse the production company 30e of not fulfilling what was agreed in the contract.
Later, the producer also spoke out, speaking of a lack of communication and stating that the artists did not negotiate anything before surprising her with the announcements.
