Ivete Sangalo celebrates 50 years this Friday and prepares to celebrate with a show in the USA

This Friday (27), the singer Ivete Sangalo completes 50 years of life. To celebrate, the Baiana born in Juazeiro plans a mega presentation, which will take place in the United States, in July this year.

With a career spanning 28 years and consecrated as one of the greatest artists of national popular music, Ivete has accumulated more than 18 million copies sold and received more than 150 awards for the songs she has already released.

On account of the anniversary, Ecad (Central Office of Collection and Distribution) made a survey of her songs that were played the most in the last five years in Brazil.

Between 2017 and 2021, “Cheguei pra te amar”, released in participation with MC Livinho, was Ivete’s most successful song. The list is followed by “Carro Velho”, which also leads the list of songs by the singer most recorded by other interpreters.

“At ease”, the classic “Flor do Reggae” and “A sign” complete the top 5.

“With 93 songs and 1,188 recordings registered in the Ecad database, Ivete had more than 70% of her income in copyright in the last five years from the Radio, TV and Carnival segments”, pointed out Ecad.

The commemorative date takes place in the midst of Ivete’s preparations for a presentation in Orlando, Florida. The show “Ivete 50 years: the biggest party in the universe” will take place at Universal Studios.

According to the organization, Ivete should present the songs from the album “Onda Boa”, which was shown in the HBO Max documentary series of the same name.

“In 2020, I still had the honor of receiving the title of honorary citizen of the City of Orlando. I can’t wait to put on a wonderful show for all the fans.”
