Ivonne Montero suffers a fatal eye accident; she lost her vision

Ivonne Montero, a Mexican actress, set off alarm bells by sharing a photo on Instagram with her left eye covered with a patch and her right eye with noticeable irritation.

Family, friends and supporters began sending their best wishes and offering their help. Later, in an interview for First handMontero explained that it was all due to an accident.

Montero explained that his corneas suffered burns because he used the contact lenses with eye drops and not with the saline solution in which they are kept.

I did not bring the saline water, I forgot it and it was easy for me to put them in eye drops. I left the lenses in eye drops.

The actress explained that she felt irritation in her eyes, so she removed her contact lenses, rinsed them, applied more drops and put them back in for more than an hour. Time when her eyeballs suffered severe damage.

When they were finally removed, he couldn’t see clearly, everything seemed blurry, which is why he went to the doctor.

I burned both corneas. I already saw blurry at the end, I took them off and what is the surprise that I no longer had vision; I only saw shadows, lights, I didn’t identify and I was super worried.

Fortunately, the actress received immediate medical attention. The doctors performed an eye wash and told him that the damage is reversible.

Montero also clarified that the events occurred on November 28 and, currently, the patch has already been removed.
