The script develops from the problems of Clara Moneke’s character. She lives with immense pain that tries at all costs not to reveal. A resident of the São Cristóvão neighborhood, in the north of Rio de Janeiro, Leona was a student of advertising when she was marrying Marlon (Humberto Morais), six months pregnant with Sophya, her first daughter, when she saw her world collapse in an ultrasound room. Since gestational loss, nothing more was the same.
The soap opera shows the unfolding of the story seven years after the incident, when Leona occupies her head while trying to balance the accounts of the house where she lives with grandmother Yara (Cyda Moreno) and Sister Stephany (Nikolly Fernandes). Empower and owner of herself, the young woman always has good intentions, but ends up getting into several troubles.
Faced with the financial squeeze and seeing her sister want to give up the college of nursing to help at home, Leona arranges a job as a nanny in the Boaz family mansion, owners of the traditional brand of own manufacturing lingerie, based in St. Christopher, which she herself used to resell. This is how she meets Sofia (Elis Cabral), the boss’s eight -year -old daughter, Abel (Tony Ramos), and one of the heirs of the Boaz’s family fortune.
Abel, the current president of the company, registered Sofia as her daughter when she was still a baby, after charging a life debt she had with a former factory employee. The mother of the child died shortly after delivering her to the tycoon. Lonely in a mansion surrounded by adults, Sofia has developed her means to draw attention: she loves to get several pieces to scare the nannies that Filipa (Claudia Abreu), Abel’s wife, tries to hire.
Leona’s arrival impacts not only Sofia’s life, but also that of her brothers, Samuel (Juan Paiva), David (Rafa Vitti) and Ayla (Bel Lima). In the relationships he builds with the girl and the other members of the family, Leona now lives new experiences and glimpsing new ways in her career.
“Sofia likes to get together several pieces, it’s her way of drawing attention. The babysitters can’t stay in the house because she makes trading, until Leona conquers her heart,” says artistic director Allan Fiterman.
Rosane Svartman also said that Leona will be the “first person who understands Sofia” and that from there, he will talk “about the various forms of maternity, including non-maternity, self-esteem, self-esteem and various other feminine themes. This will be part of the universe not only of the protagonist, but from other characters in the plot”.
“The title ‘Dona de me’ says a lot about the story we will tell: a Figure of an independent woman who wants to take the reins of his life, ”summarizes Rosane Svartman, author of the work.
