Iza honors Elza Soares by opening champions parade in Rio de Janeiro

The singer Iza, 34, will participate in the opening show of the traditional Champion Parade From Rio de Janeiro Carnival, this Saturday (8). For the presentation at Marquês de Sapucaí, she chose to honor the artist Elza Soares (1930-2022).

“Elza for the champions’ parade,” Iza wrote on social networks. The silver look inspired by a costume used by Elza is signed by the brand Silfar.

In addition to Iza, Ivete Sangalo, Zezé Motta and Leci Brandão were also confirmed to open the ways to the associations, which obtained the best results after the parades, and return to the sacred ground.
