Iza reveals details of future projects and new album: “Very special”

In a recent interview with Radio Disney, the singer Iza 33, gave details about the next projects in your career . The voice of “Dona de Mim” will have to take a break from the concert schedule after performing at Rock in Rio in September of this year.

“I’m going to do Rock in Rio while I’m eight months pregnant, and just talking about it makes me sweat. But I’m preparing a very special show, something I’ve never done before, very musical, and I’ll be very comfortable,” she said.

According to her, the stage structure, however, will not have a staircase – to maintain care before the birth of her first daughter Nala, the result of her former relationship with the stand-up player Yuri Lima, 29. The baby is expected to come into the world in October.

The idea, according to Iza, is to return to the stage to be present at Carnival 2025, with “Bonde Pesadão”. Before that, she is preparing a special project for her fans.

“It’s obvious that I’m living a very special moment, so my next work will also be about special things, because I’m living a very blessed moment. I’m already writing some things for my next work. The next album will come next year, and I’m working on a project that will come before the album. It’s been really cool, I’m enjoying this process more and more,” he said.

In August 2023, the singer released the album “Afrodhit” which, according to her, represents the exact moment when she felt safe to be honest with the public.

“It’s an album of black music, which talks a lot about femininity, about being a woman, about our feelings, about things that we sometimes aren’t proud to talk about. It’s a very visceral and intimate album, and I felt very liberated after it was released. I feel like I was able to put things that bothered me to music and were healed through music,” she confessed.
