Judging by the information of the Autoreview publication, the JAC JS4 vehicle will be on sale in dealer networks by mid-July this year. But, unfortunately, so far there is no information on the cost of the basic version or more expensive configurations – the company will probably release the figures closer to the official launch of the car.
Unfortunately, potential JAC JS4 buyers will not be able to get all-wheel drive – there is only a front-wheel drive with semi-independent suspension, plus the entire platform was developed jointly with Volkswagen. As a result, the basic version called Comfort is provided with a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine – this is as much as 118 horsepower at 150 Nm of torque, running on a six-speed manual gearbox. Of the interesting features of the configuration, it is worth noting cruise control and rear parking sensors. There is also a Luxury package, which received more airbags, climate control, a multimedia system with a 10.25-inch touch screen, as well as a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 132 horsepower – here you can choose mechanics or a variator.
The top package is the Flagship version – it also gets a turbo engine and a CVT (mechanics are no longer offered), a digital dashboard, LED headlights and an eco-leather interior. There are also all-round cameras, a marking tracking system, blind spot monitoring and collision warning. It remains only to find out the prices for these configurations in order to compare with potential competitors from KIA and Skoda.
