She appeared dressed in white Jacinda Ardern during his official meeting with Boris Johnson at 10 Downing Street last July 1st. The New Zealand Prime Minister, in London after the NATO summit, chose for the occasion a short-sleeved midi dress of Emilia Wickstead, one of the favorite designers of Kate Middleton.
But the affinity of stylistic choices with the Duchess certainly does not stop at the label. The white dress, characterized by a wide collar that recalls the two fake pockets on the bodice, looks a lot like the one – also by Emilia Wickstead – worn by the wife of Prince William several years ago, exactly in 2016during an official trip of the Dukes to India.
To differentiate the two models, the shape of the collar, decidedly more rounded for Kate, and the length of the dress, a little shorter for the Duchess.
At the time, Kate paired it with an ivory-toned pair of pumps, dropping her iconic wavy hair, divided in two by a central line. A ensemble replicated in detail by the New Zealand premier.
The confirmation that time passes, but the style (of Kate Middleton) remains.
