Jack Dorsey’s first tweet sold as NFT for 1,500 ETH

The auction has ended for the sale of Twitter founder Jack Dorsey’s first tweet as a collectible token (NFT). The auction was won by Sina Estavi and paid 1,500 ETH ($ 2.55 million).

To receive the funds, Dorsey registered a new Ethereum wallet, and the transaction was made through the Kraken cryptocurrency exchange.

Earlier it was reported that all proceeds from the sale will be immediately converted into bitcoin and transferred to the Africa Response initiative through the Give Directly service.
