Jack the Ripper's face – This is what AI thinks the notorious prostitute killer looked like

Pictures of Jack the Ripper created with Artificial Intelligence (AI) have recently come to light and reveal that the notorious 19th century prostitute killer was a bold man with a darkly charming, wild energy.

The illustrations come from Jeff Leahy, a longtime Ripper fan from Carmarthen, Wales, who produced a miniseries about the killer and has spent decades studying the lore surrounding one of history's most notorious villains, as noted by New York Post.

With the help of Midjourney software, combined with information and available photos of relatives of prime suspect Aaron Kosminski, Leahy was able to create a rather impressive portrait of the man.

“It's amazing that we finally have a picture of him. I was blown away by how impressive the image is,” Leahy told SWNS.

Kosminski was a Polish-born barber who worked in Whitechapel, the area of London's East End where the murders took place in the late 1800s.

Kosminski has been named by many experts as the Ripper, however no one has ever been able to prove his guilt. “There's never been a picture of him and this is the best we'll ever have,” Leahy said.

THE Jack the Ripper caused panic in London in 1888 after slitting the throats and mutilating the bodies of prostitutes in a poor part of the British capital.

The world-famous nickname came from a letter someone wrote claiming responsibility for the murders. Many were suspects – even kings, artists and writers.

Over the years, Kosminski emerged as the favorite suspect. Kosminski was admitted to a mental institution in the early 1890s, shortly after the killer's prime.

He died in 1919 at the age of 53.
