“I almost didn’t go to the Oscars that year, but I’m glad I went. I call it the “holy slap” now, because so many positive things came after that. That moment when everything seems to fall apart is when you see where you really are,” the actress told the Daily Mail newspaper.

“After all these years of wondering if I would ever leave Will, it took that slap for me to see that I would never leave him. Who knows where our relationship would be if this hadn’t happened?”, he assessed.

The 52-year-old businesswoman, mother of Jaden, 25, and Willow, 23, with Will, and stepmother of Trey, 30, revealed that she and the “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” star are planning to write a book together .

“Will and I planned [escrever] a book called ‘Don’t Try This at Home’ [‘Não Tente Isso em Casa’, em tradução livre]. He is on a journey. I’m on another journey. We want to write something where he puts the masculine side, I put the feminine side and then these universal issues are resolved”, revealed Jada.
