Jada Pinkett Smith says she and Will Smith “will be together forever”

Jada Pinkett Smith took fans by surprise when she said that she and Will Smith “will be together forever”.

The actress, 52, hinted that she will remain married to the actor, 55, just weeks after revealing that the couple were separated.

During his appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show”, Drew said he believed, based on Jada’s book, that their personal trajectories may have taken separate paths, but revealed that he had the feeling that they would remain together forever.

“I feel like maybe your shadow and his shadow separated in some way in the book, regardless of whether they’re together forever or not, it feels like you’re going to be together forever,” Drew Barrymore speculated.

“We’re going to be together forever,” replied Jada, who has been married to Will since 1997.

The star then insinuated that her attempts to separate from the actor were unsuccessful. “I tried. We tried,” she joked.

In October, the artist revealed in an interview with the “TODAY” program that she and her husband had been living in separate homes since 2016, although they chose to remain officially married.

“It wasn’t a divorce on paper, but it was a divorce,” Jada said.

She also explained that they both felt “exhausted” from their efforts to make the relationship work.

“I think by the time we got to 2016, we were exhausted from trying. I think we were both still stuck in our fantasy about what we thought the other person should be,” he said.
